When I ask a client about not just their goals but their dreams, sometimes I get a funny look because too many people are jaded and doubt the power of their dreams.
But when we really discuss our dreams with someone that cares and can and will help us to achieve them, the probability of success goes up dramatically. And when we put a plan together to actually achieve the dreams, and work with our client year over year to take the appropriate steps to move towards the dreams, a miracle manifests: they achieve what they thought could never be.
And as we walk towards that vision and it shifts from mirage to real — becomes a physical truth instead of a metaphysical idea — reality is bent to the will and the inevitable of good planning and execution.
And building that with a client is what you do.
