Tiny Changes, Big Differences

By Joe Templin · May 26, 2026 · 1 min read

“True life is lived when tiny changes occur.”

— Leo Tolstoy

Little changes can make a big difference over time.

Expending an extra hundred calories a day by parking at the far end of the lot and taking the stairs instead of the elevator are little changes you won’t even notice. But 100 calories a day is 36,500 a year, or ten pounds of body fat difference. Ten pounds is easily an inch off the waistline for making an essentially unnoticeable daily change.

Asking for Introductions every time you meet with a client is a small change, but can be an extra Introduction a day. If your average Introduction is worth $250 in year one revenue (and probably $3-$10k of additional lifetime value to you), that is an extra 200 days × $250/day or $50,000 of year one income (plus $600k-$2m of future income banked).

Little change today. Big changes long-term.

Make a tiny change to live the life you truly want.
