“Labor disgraces no man; unfortunately you occasionally find men who disgrace labor.” -Ulysses S Grant
I had a young representative tell me he was working really hard because he picked up the phone fifteen times a day for five days in a row, three weeks in a row. For some reason he thought this was great effort and that he should now be making bank. His week was a day for me when I was at his stage.
The agent that sees three people in a week, gets a handful of Introductions, and is proud of their effort? Buddy, that was bad day for me when I was getting going and I’d be embarrassed to post my activity numbers if they were that paltry because it would have indicated I was lazy.
If you are not spending all day seeing clients or fighting to see clients, you are wasting your time. Stop half assing it and put your full ass and back into building something you can be proud of. Stop doing two minutes of work then resting on your shovel for a half hour while the rest of us are digging for gold.
Don’t tell me you are working hard when you are hardly working.
