The author, writing in the dark before dawn day after day and being rejected over and over again before that first acceptance validating their struggles.

The new salesperson that picks up the phone a hundred times a day and faces rejection, operating on faith that they can get through the initial hard months to build their business.

Do the hard things that terrify you. Show up and outwork others in the knowledge that you can do it and you will do it — not because you are a superhuman but because you are a human with a why that makes you powerful beyond normal limits.
