If you don’t envision yourself as a successful professional, others won’t either.
If you don’t believe that you deserve Introductions, that potential client won’t believe you deserve them either.
You need to make the sale to yourself first, to buy into the belief that you add value to others and that everyone you meet benefits from talking to you, and that it is only a question of when and how.
If you doubt that you are good enough, the other person will sense the hesitancy the same way that a dog can smell fear. Become fearless in that you need to absolutely KNOW to the depth of your soul that you will be additive and helpful to this other individual, that the time with you is more valuable than any other alternative.
Once you BELIEVE that strongly, they will buy in to you. Until then, you will always be trying to sell.
